Sometimes I feel like I’ve become more uncertain about investing in a certain sense as I’ve gained more knowledge - I’ve realized that I don’t know much at all. On the bright side, I (probably) don’t think too highly of myself. ![]()
Reading the interviews, I noticed that everyone talked more or less about the basics, and yet (also because of that), all my interviewees are exceptionally smart investors. Thanks to them, I’ve been looking at the basics even more, although I still forget them sometimes.
My investment assets peaked in November 2021 at about 90,000 euros; now they are around 85,000 euros. In terms of euros, things haven’t gone too badly considering the “scam markets,” but in reality, my portfolio dropped a lot, meaning it was due to a high savings rate and the fact that I worked a lot + received quite a lot of retroactive income in 2022 from 2021 (my own fault they were delayed). And one can’t downplay the fact that my portfolio has risen a lot so far this year by my standards.
Early last year, I mentioned to someone in a private message something like the markets will drop -50 percent or rise 10 percent. Maybe I’ll make the same guesses for this year. ![]()
Have a relaxed start to the week, everyone!
