Inderes Coffee Room (Part 10)

Congratulations at least @Farseer ! From meetups, I recall that you had a good chunk of Citycon and on the leverage side too?

I have often thought about investing in Citycon. Today is the first day I’ve regretted not investing at all

I have a bad habit of making things unnecessarily complicated. In investing, a good guideline is to keep things relatively simple and focus on the most essential matters. Easier said than done, especially now that I’m expanding diversification with new companies. I tend to overthink things.

Quite a bit of belittling. I suspect that for most investors, this is still a more profitable solution than relying on their own skills as a stock picker. Naturally, this strategy doesn’t guarantee outperformance, and massive tracking error against indices is certainly to be expected in the future as well.

I have a fair amount of Citycon and this whole mess pisses me off like a small squirrel.

Most forum users are probably smart enough to have stayed away from Citycon (after all, the company’s dividend yield is currently a round 0  )

But you can practice sympathy by imagining examples like a great takeover bid for Remedy at €16 per share, and Kamux taken off the stock exchange with a “premium” at a price of €2.4, or a takeover bid for Qt with a significant premium at a price of €42 :man_facepalming:

Yeah, this is on @Yu_Gong’s team’s table, so I don’t doubt it will be improved eventually

I have always wondered why these ownership listings are handled so carelessly. While digging into that list, I learned about the topic: Suurimmat osakkeenomistajat -listaukset

A listing updated once a month feels almost archaic in today’s information society. And the ways of handling the listing also vary considerably. For some, it’s updated daily; for most, monthly. The number of entries varies between 20-200, and for some, the listing is not found at all.

Lindström and Vietnam. At least the country is correct now. It could also be Marimekko.

Kamux and Germany, that would seem to be very clearly the case :index_pointing_up:

In Velloressa, India, there’s at least a Metso that hasn’t been guessed yet. You can have the premiums from me if it’s correct :+1:
