Inderes Coffee Room (Part 10)

Interesting to see how Nokia’s stock will behave in the future and what significance this deal has for Nokia as a company.

Frankly, it scares me too when everything in my portfolio is in the green (except Aiforia), when will a correction come.

But let’s enjoy this hype for now, it has been lamented for many years

As one considers these various feelings related to Nokia’s rise, isn’t it good, on the other hand, that your portfolio doesn’t contain a stock that you’ve at some point determined to only be flatlining? You shouldn’t have any such stocks there! If such a stock then at some point surges due to news, in my opinion, it’s no shame that it’s not in your portfolio.

I, at least, wouldn’t be able to afford to keep fifty former giants in my portfolio waiting for a similar piece of news that might come someday. That (potential) return must be found by other means.

No matter which way Nokia’s stock goes today, the news headlines certainly won’t fail to convey that big movements are happening. It’s good that the success of Finnish companies is celebrated, but there’s occasionally a bit of a frenzy, and when we talk about frenzy, sometimes realities are forgotten. But it’s good to have a positive vibe. Perhaps the best frenzy around defense industry stocks has passed, and now, with Nokia, the AI frenzy is back on top. I myself am waiting for a frenzy around Finnish pharmaceutical companies, because something good might be coming from there. One could get a piece of that too. But an interesting day is coming to the stock market overall, and that’s always a nice thing amidst the autumn grayness!

Humble thanks and a bow

In honor of this, I’m buying a small slice of Inderes shares today. By the way, we are already among the top 50 owners through our company. :star_struck: Just like with Nokia, I see Inderes’ future as bright.

Oh damn, now I have to add the statement again: “this is not an investment recommendation”.

With these merits, I should propose the title of Nokia Honorary Analyst to you. :sports_medal:

I was sure you had this - these normally come automatically with an “algorithm/automation” that has its own criteria etc.

I set it separately for you and locked it, so you keep that title, because you definitely deserve it.

Even this morning, in a private message, it was said about you, among other things, “A nice and helpful fellow.”

Lexus is now the master, and now that Verneri came up with a fitting title, I added:

Yes, that’s why I gave up. And I don’t regret it. Mainly I wanted to show empathy to those who feel they have failed

I generally don’t regret failures. They happen.

One would go crazy if one regretted lost profits.

When a person of this level gets scammed, how can one dare to keep their money and assets in banks anymore?

In the future, you can get bonuses as cash if you want:

A citizen just wonders why S-bonuses are not taxed, and when our wise decision-makers will figure out to start taxing them. That accumulation is easily over a thousand euros a year from an ordinary family’s grocery purchases.

Hopefully Nordnet doesn’t crash again at 10 AM. There are enough interesting events that it might be more active than usual.

Finnish small-time retail investors got to show off their investments in the form of Nokia for a moment yesterday, but today it seems to be back to the traditional everyday life of the Helsinki Stock Exchange :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

This is one of those sayings that usually doesn’t hold true in stock picking

My investment strategy for the past 10 years has felt like buying good securities at the wrong time. I assume we will continue with the same pattern.

It’s still better than buying bad papers at the wrong time.

I opened Inderes and was amused (the webcast hadn’t even started yet)

Absolutely great pictures, would fit very well as a cover photo for the Neste/Nokia bears
