Wasn’t that 1000 euros a pretty reasonable “compensation” for waiting five weeks? I could certainly wait for quite a few things for five weeks if I got 1000 euros for it. ![]()
The model portfolio has been discussed, for example, here:
@Vanerihands and @NukkeNukuttaja, thanks for the suggestion, I moved 10 messages to the thread you suggested ![]()
Excellent messages indeed!

Thank you very much @Sijoittaja-alokas, things got a bit out of hand, even though I was aware of the problem earlier. Well, moderators have to be kept busy🙂
Not at all, excellent and good discussion. ![]()
I learn from the messages of both analysts and forum members. I appreciate that you have knowledge, skill, and the ability to write and think. I don’t have any of these. ![]()
In my opinion, you have improved your progress really well and in practice, you are no longer even at a loss. The apartment is paid for, and the starting points for creating value by investing are better than ever. My stock picking track also looks really bleak, but that’s why I’m mostly invested in indexes.
You sometimes put yourself down a bit too much. From the outside, it looks like things are starting to be “in the groove” ![]()
Reading the analysis report, I interpreted that in the analyst’s opinion, a negative profit warning was likely, but it would already be mostly priced into the stock. So, the share price drop would be minor. Of course, I don’t know if you consider a 19% share price drop minor? I might be wrong, of course… Generally, reading Inderes’ analyses has been very beneficial for me. Thanks for that!
Thank you very much, your message warmed my heart a lot! ![]()
Yes, I’m in a good situation in life and have managed to build a life I like. So I get to live as I want in my own style, which feels nice to me. ![]()
This goes a little or a lot off-topic:
Sometimes at the gym and in investing, it’s frustrating at certain moments when the weights haven’t gone up well in training, or when there’s a huge negative, or when looking at the portfolio, it looks unpleasant, but between these moments, i.e., 99 percent of the time, it’s fun, to put it bluntly. In both, I give a lot and kind of “like to hit my head against a wall” - for years at the gym, I haven’t used a coach at all, and I want to pick stocks entirely myself, even though it feels silly, even though one could outsource even a little bit of thinking about strength training to a professional coach and in investing, put half into funds, but I like to go this way. ![]()
There’s still learning to do in the basics, and genuinely big, silly mistakes happen. Additionally, sometimes I intentionally want to emphasize that I don’t know much yet, because sometimes someone has mistaken me for a good investor and then asked for tips.
Perhaps sometimes I unintentionally give off a more competent impression, so that’s why I sometimes want to remind people what I’m like and how things have really gone - although sometimes this might go a bit overboard too. ![]()
I am trying to learn more practically now by creating Excels and doing “practice analyses.”
Have a nice weekend everyone! ![]()
As indicated by the title of Inderes’ latest comment, the severity of the profit warning surprised the analyst. The target price is a 12-month target price and does not estimate daily or weekly price movements. And next week, that target price will presumably be updated.
Since I don’t follow QT myself, I can’t really comment on the analysis.
Yep, and what’s better than having a quality watch you love on your wrist, one that lasts for decades and retains its value. A month’s waiting time means nothing in that context. Congratulations on a great choice!
The case has loose similarities to investing. Should one buy an expensive, reliable company known to generate profits with a good moat year after year and cycle after cycle, or a turnaround company whose fairy tale engine churns out one story after another? The suspicion of a scam creeps into one’s mind. Some investors don’t touch these potential rockets for fear of losing money. Some put all their money into these, and some play with a small corner of their portfolio. I belong to the latter category myself, and perhaps that’s why I dared to take the risk, even though there was a slight smell of urine in the air.
It would be nice if it was written on memes if they are made by someone else. And I don’t really understand why you publish a meme that was published on the same forum a day earlier.

I can’t read every single message on the forum and know if the picture in question has already been posted here

Normally, it’s not customary to put notes on memes, e.g., “I didn’t make this meme myself,” or have you encountered the practice you suggested elsewhere on the internet?
“Black ice, hoarfrost, and dense fog have caused several traffic accidents”
And naturally, speeds too high for the (weather) conditions, insufficient “safety” distances, and any other kind of Homo sapiens activity had a negligible effect on these accidents either
![]()
I agree with that. Weather conditions must always be taken into account.
Now the conditions were very challenging. Winter always surprises drivers, but this time there were excellent opportunities for it in the Lahti region.
The road surface was frozen in very few places. The air was completely still, so the cold stayed well on the road surface even though the temperature was already +5 degrees otherwise and the roads were largely completely dry.
I just came from Kouvola when I had to get a replacement tire for my brother-in-law’s father after his went flat. The temperature according to the car’s meter was already +7 degrees, but due to the completely still air, shady spots were still icy.
Fortunately, it seems no one was seriously hurt in the major accident. The situation was different in Virrat, where two people died.
In the Lahti major accident, the danger of the situation was apparently most affected by the fog, which was really dense in places. The behavior of drivers in the video taken from the scene is puzzling. At the tail end of the pile-up, only one car uses hazard lights. In Central Europe, they are turned on immediately if there is even a thought of a potential pile-up.
Have other international forum users already found their way here? Isn’t the Swedish forum closed now? I tried to look at some Swedish threads, but I didn’t see any. I guess I’ll still make some afternoon coffee.
I could also use our western neighbor. Perhaps some of their natural Gladstone Gander-like optimism and luck would accidentally rub off on me too ![]()
Would anyone be interested in Qt with those numbers and stories if it wasn’t in Hex? Just a side note, I’ve been thinking for a long time when considering a new investment target, whether it’s, for example, better than Google or Amazon (growth, outlook, valuation, etc.). Quite rarely it is.
