They have also invested in vans!

What kind of rice does a rice cooker make? I personally don’t like the style where the water is boiled away in a pot and the rice packs into a dense mush. I cook with plenty of water so that the rice is loose, slightly al dente. If a rice cooker boils the water away, does the rice always turn into an Asian-style clump? My spouse has talked about a rice cooker, but because of my assumption, I’ve never been enthusiastic about it.

Similar ones have been around here in the countryside for a very long time, but they haven’t really taken off. Of course, there are enough customers, but is the business really that profitable?

In terms of megatrends, this should be a “nobrainer” because people live in increasingly smaller cubicles on increasingly smaller plots but want to own more and more stuff. On the other hand, with the disposable culture, once-used gear is now sold forward on Vinted etc. However, I think there’s also enough of it to be stored, perhaps at a high monthly price.

The coffee room is truly great, when people happily discuss among themselves the meaningfulness of active investor communication regarding wall investments for rice cookers.

Cityvarasto Plans to List

That’s an interesting industry. It fits very well on the Helsinki stock exchange.

I bought this (IREN) earlier this year for 11.65 USD. Ideas on what similar to buy next?

The most important thing before cooking is to wash the rice to rinse off the starches. After that, the rice won’t get mushy even if you boil off the water.

The news below didn’t stay on newspaper front pages for long. A dog attacked three people, causing serious injuries, after which the police shot it. No one even died, so no big deal. Dogs have killed dozens of people in Finland, so a few injuries aren’t a very big deal.

What if it had been a wolf? Newspapers would blast news story after news story about how it’s no longer safe to move around in Finland, and politicians would eagerly score easy points from allowing wolf hunting. The damages are manifold, but interest is low because it’s just a dog, not a political animal like a wolf.

I do think that all unnecessary (extra) devices are useless. And they would take up a ton of space somewhere

Is cooking rice somehow slow or difficult? Do we need a pasta cooker? An egg cooker? What about a potato cooker?

We’re in quite a junk spiral when a pot has to be replaced by ten devices.

Reports quarterly, semi-annually, annually?

Hold my coffee,
beer, coffee,
beer, and I’ll put our company’s newest and most dashing employee Teuvo TekoĂ€ly to work. Give it 20 seconds, and you’ll get an up-to-date, fresh-from-the-oven report.

Which, however, must be checked and calculated manually because the risk that the report contains any assumptions, guesses, or other “hallucinations” is at least approx. 30%?

In Finland, the state is responsible for forest animals. Dogs are generally the responsibility of citizens.
It is considerably more tempting to criticize the state than an ordinary person, as if it were a common enemy.

Against the flu

  • garlic should be eaten raw. 6 cloves a day is a suitable dose. Easiest to enjoy on toasted and buttered bread, which mellows the taste. Chewing it completely raw burns the mouth and tongue fiercely.
  • mask on your face. The mask humidifies the inhaled air, and more humid air helps the body’s own defense system function. There are other ways to humidify than a mask, but often, for example, turning a bedroom into a steam sauna is not possible. As a bonus, housemates appreciate the gesture when you also eat that garlic.

Nice to hear I’m completely abnormal once again, as I don’t think I can manage with that time  This also shows for me in that I’m quite happy to change a worn brush to a new one after 2 months at the latest.

Well, the biggest challenge is probably getting people to wash their hands at all, let alone using warm water and soap. I, at least, want to keep my hands at least somewhat clean, so something like 15 seconds with soap has become a routine.

That Intellegon blunder is quite reminiscent of Verve’s similar one from some time ago. On the surface, there shouldn’t be anything, but then something comes to light.

During the pandemic, this was also tried at the workplace. We washed our hands for about a minute. Then we tried to remember what song we were supposed to sing. No one remembered. So we sang ‘Mickey Mouse in Distress’ while washing our hands. Luckily no one saw, they might have looked at us a bit slowly

For the Chinese, the image transmitted by car cameras is no longer sufficient. Now, there’s a broader desire to know the car’s surroundings. Now would be the time for restrictions.
