Now that’s a headline that really looks like the company.

Infernal dividends produce infernal numbers.
With such a DIVIDEND JACKPOT, using caps lock is justified! ![]()
Finns are DIVIDEND PEOPLE

This is how shareholder value is created. ![]()
This is some kind of intelligence test for investors.
Years of educational work do not seem to have made a big change in investors.
If a company distributes three euros in dividends, its value increases by at least three euros! ![]()
Oh my, these are beginner’s numbers!

My English is bad and I translated it wrong.
But yeah, that’s a suitable angle for me. ![]()
We wouldn’t have any problems either. We have our own well as a backup and three wood-burning ovens to take care of emergency heating. After a week, we would have to use the outhouse for business as the pumping station’s buffer storage is only 1.5 m3.
So we both belong to that 10% who wouldn’t have any problems. On the other hand, that doesn’t make the claim false, because 90% would still literally be in deep trouble. There’s also the problem that if you don’t own a weapon and a lot of ammunition, you won’t be able to keep your place for very long.
Remedy investors: welcome to discuss in the Paradox thread. A thread where autumn game releases are awaited at the top of the Steam list, etc.
Can small companies rise from the dead, I ponder in a recent Premium article.
The performance of small companies has been exceptionally poor in recent years, but is there a reason for this to continue?
Real dividends.

The most surprising thing here was that there was relatively little new information after last week’s.
Great article, thanks! I’ve been pondering largely similar questions regarding small-cap companies lately.
According to my strategy, 100% of my portfolio allocation is in small-cap companies. Sometimes it truly hurts mentally to watch the performance of US tech stocks, AI hype (bumbtsibumien), cryptocurrencies, and even Finnish engineering companies.
The best remedy for this nausea has been to review the contents of my own portfolio in its entirety.
Then I realize again that I own businesses that, even in the current economic environment, generate good cash flow with a good return on capital, and at the same time, there are quite realistic opportunities for double-digit earnings growth in the coming years.
In addition to this, the valuation is reasonable, as earnings and cash flow yields (based on this year’s forecasts) are in the 5-10% range within the portfolio.
With such a portfolio, despite the risks of small-cap companies, it’s quite comfortable to sit on one’s hands, even if the market inflates into a bigger bubble again in places, e.g., for US tech stocks or AI. Or perhaps I’m just too optimistic despite the miserable small-cap sentiment, and AI will disrupt my small-cap businesses (even though they operate in sectors where there shouldn’t be an immediate risk of this) or the small-cap slump will continue in other ways ![]()
Here’s an article by @Antti_Leinonen about a couple of companies operating in the lunch voucher market. ![]()
The lunch voucher market created by legislators is largely in the hands of two French listed companies. The duo faces competition from local players, but Edenred and Pluxee are the only international operators. The larger Edenred has an estimated 40 percent and Pluxee approximately 25 percent global market share.

This part is in order. However, I don’t believe that even a week-long power outage, at least here in the “countryside,” would cause a very bad wave of house takeovers.
There’s plenty of wood, and burning it in the fireplace would keep the house largely warm even without electricity. (Not the upstairs, though.) I already have three generators, and with them, I could produce electricity for at least some time for freezers, air source heat pumps, etc. In such a situation, however, the fuel would run out quite soon… I don’t have municipal utilities, so there wouldn’t be a problem with water supply either.
Such a power outage would certainly cause a lot of extra work, and (paid) work would largely have to be forgotten.

Let’s add some variety to the coffee room, away from coffee brands and boring investment jargon ![]()
