A good tech stock always has some kind of scam going on to keep the hype and the stock price high. Initially, Tesla was supposed to conquer the world with a ‘just about to be released’ people’s electric car, made cheaper than anyone else with fully automated factories. Well, nothing came of that, but then we got ‘just about to hit the market’ self-driving cars, which never worked. But luckily, the Dojo supercomputer remained, from which a permanent competitive advantage in AI was gained:
Oops, that was just an investment scam too. No way
But never mind, because luckily, the new investment scam this time is dancing remote-controlled robots, and for a while, we can collectively pretend in investor discussions that Tesla is not an electric car company losing market share with a faded brand, but a world-class market-disrupting robotics company whose TAM and thus potential is almost limitless ![]()
