It’s “eeKUU” (like ‘kyoo’) not “eeGUU” (like ‘goo’) in Finnish and all other Western languages.

All pronunciations of ‘q’ where the letter ‘g’ is heard are unequivocally wrong. For example, the country name Qatar is pronounced “Katar” not “Gatar”, and the Finnish-Swedish surname Ahlqvist is pronounced “Ahlkvist” not “Ahlgvist”.

At first reaction, it probably sounds like nitpicking, but when the company name is repeated incorrectly for almost 30 minutes, it really grates on the ear.
