When talking about Lahti, you undoubtedly mean Puu-Paavola.
But if we’re being completely honest, even though it was in its own way a charming phenomenon - detached houses right next to the city center - they were actually quite dreadful and dilapidated shacks. The residents were mostly disadvantaged members of society and otherwise marginalized individuals, who were then, with the new construction, cleared out to make way for a more middle-class population.
