Greetings to the entire forum and the Inderes crew!

I thought this thread might be the best place to ask about something that interests me greatly: the possibility of a UAS (University of Applied Sciences) internship. As I understand it, Inderes does not currently have an open application for equity analysis through which I could approach the company for this purpose.

My intention is to inquire whether it would be possible to complete an internship for a UAS student specializing in finance within equity analysis (duration 2.5 or 5 months) starting after the middle of this year. If this is possible, I would be very happy to get in touch personally with the person I could discuss this with in more detail.

Thanks for asking! We don’t actually have an open call right now, so this is exactly the right place to ask.

From time to time, we have considered designing an internship program within the analysis team that would offer a trainee the opportunity to develop and participate in producing analysis. For now, this is still on its way to the drawing board, and so far we have only had students in summer positions. We will certainly revisit this internship program at some point, but unfortunately, we don’t have a trainee position to offer at the moment.

We expect to be opening a general application call in the near future, and you can certainly get in touch through that and deliver your elevator pitch.

Got it! It’s great that an internship program is being planned! I believe Inderes will be a very attractive internship provider for many students in the field once the program is finalized.

This is good news if

  1. none of the current analysts are leaving
  2. the analyst spends at least part of their time on commissioned research, though of course, in line with the strategy, free research is also needed to increase visibility in the Nordics
