I will post all our latest updates here, including what they contain and how to use them.
So, you can follow our dev team’s latest work here and see how your own feature requests are progressing. The content may be technical, but feel free to ask and I’ll tell you more if you want to know about our product development.
Today’s Production Release (May 22, 2018)
We implemented new technology called Service Workers. You can read here what they do
Service worker overview | Workbox | Chrome for Developers
How this appears to users: You users can enable your browser’s native push notifications, so you’ll receive notifications from companies you follow, as well as from Pods, Roasts, and Model Portfolio events if you’ve chosen to follow them.
Inderes is possibly the first digital service in Finland to utilize this technology
Shall we do a @Verneri_Pulkkinen #techtalk about this tomorrow?
We also went through the matter in video form!
Notifikaatiot ja Service Workerit Tech Talkissa - Inderes
How do workers operate if the browser is closed? Do I need to keep the browser open in the background on my phone all the time?
Yeah, the browser needs to be “open”, but not active, just in the background as you said.
Notifications still queue up when the browser is closed, and when you open the browser, those notifications will come through.
Hi!
During your TechTalk video, a question came to mind: what service does Inderes use for its website servers, or do you perhaps have your own “datacenter”?
Almost all of our software is in a hosting service called Upcloud, and some smaller services like Chatbots are in a hosting service called Heroku Cloud
It’s quite rare for anyone to have their “own datacenter” nowadays. I can’t really argue when it’s worth having your own these days, unless your business is specifically providing hosting services. So there might be some reason to have your own datacenter, but I honestly can’t justify it or present scenarios where it would be necessary :S
Now you can see when the target price and recommendation were given in the share comparison. The same information can also be seen on company pages, for example Nokia. Today we managed to complete the update <3
A few small UX updates were made today:
- Arrow keys now work in the Morning Briefing when you want to move from one article to another (Left & Right)
- The ESC button works if you want to close the Morning Briefing window
- The much-requested social media sharing buttons can now be found in the Morning Briefing articles.
Happy late summer everyone! The 1st production export of the summer was sweaty but fun
Now all Estonian Tallinn stock exchange shares can be found on Inderes.fi service: Osakemarkkinoiden indeksit ja päivän kurssit - Inderes

@Aston_Livingstone Now videos that are not yet Live but are scheduled for the future offer the opportunity to add an event to your own calendar!
Here is an example of Talenom’s Q3 webcast, which is scheduled to start on October 22nd at 2:00 PM Talenom liiketoimintakatsaus tammi-syyskuu 2018 22.10.2018 klo 14:00 - Inderes
A change has also been made to insider transactions. So now you can easily open the original announcement when browsing transactions. ![]()

Works incredibly well with Google Calendar on an Android phone. Thanks!!
This is what I was waiting for! I always wanted to check if those big sums were true, but now you can see it and don’t have to look for the announcement on the company’s own website.
I made the following change: now, subscriptions are also shown in green, and they are visible even if you don’t click “Show all.” This is because they are largely purchases, just like acquisitions.
This is most emphasized in IPO situations, where insiders subscribe during the IPO itself.
I’m making a new version of the stock comparison, which will include user experience improvements and, for example, the ability to see the daily change in the stock price
Feel free to shout out any features that come to mind.
A screenshot from my local environment, so it’s not yet in production and all data is test data.
A small but streamlining addition: For stock comparison, a clickable “back to top” button, and the option to change the top bar selection while on a stock, so you don’t always have to scroll back and forth. So, if I’m looking at “key figures” and have scrolled to Sampo, I could directly switch to other figures (e.g., “recommendations”) at that point, and the view would stay on Sampo, instead of jumping back to the beginning of the list.
What do you think? Would course alerts be a nice feature? So you could set an alert for yourself and the system would notify you when a course has exceeded or fallen below a level you specify? Plus a follow-up question, if it’s a good idea: Behind a Premium or Free access? You’d need an account at least, so we know where to send the alerts, heh ![]()
It’s beautiful now <3 Osakevertailu - Inderes
Improvements:
- Price change during the day and sorting according to it
- You can adjust the column width yourself
- Works better on mobile. (Before it made me sick to use it)
- If you press shift and sort a second time, you get 2 sorts simultaneously (i.e. you can set a secondary sort at the same time)
I’m on vacation next week, but if you have any problems or wishes, ping @Erno_Hilvenius or @Verneri_Pulkkinen (I can send pictures of camels and pyramids here)
