Inderes.fi content development ideas

Would it be possible to add Excel files as possible attachments to forum posts? In principle, even CSV would be better than nothing. I would personally like to attach e.g. some calculations or portfolio contents related to the Top 3 of 2020 thread, for example.

Hi @greenhornet

The allowed formats are now xlsx, xlsm (with Excel macros), csv, and ods if you’re using Open Office.

Here’s a test:

Not a development idea, but who should I message if I am a member of the stock savers and want that discount on the premium?

Send it to info@inderes.fi and I’ll take a look. @Gadus

Was it that five-digit customer number you wanted?

Actually, the email address is enough  I can check it directly from your account.

I’ll send a message :slightly_smiling_face:

Are others able to open the Inderes company reports normally? For me, nothing happens when I click “download report”. It used to work normally for me.

Addition: False alarm, I logged out and logged back in, and it started working just fine

@NukkeNukuttaja Can you provide a link to the report you tried to download  ? I can then check if everything is in order.

EDIT: Yes, good to hear, let me know if I can help!

I need upcoming earnings report dates for the stock calendar. They still seem to be missing
Was Admicom’s earnings report as early as next Friday?

Why do other companies in the stock list have black and white logos, except Kesko?

Apologies for the delayed response, I managed to be on an exceptionally long holiday around Christmas

Good thoughts, these discussions are constantly held within our house as well. I can already say at this stage that we will be releasing an update to our recommendation policy, hopefully within the first part of this year. I can say that both the target price and the recommendation will remain included.

We have no obligation to give a recommendation. However, I personally consider the recommendation to be a very important part of the analysis, probably more important than the target price.

Giving only a target price would be a beautiful idea in an optimal world. Imagine that you define the fair value of a stock relatively accurately, and this would be your target price. In this model, one would also have to abandon the 12-month idea, because it would often be too short a time for the fair value to materialize. For example, in portfolio management, this model works well and there is no need for a recommendation (this is how I think about managing my own portfolio, for example).

However, this is difficult (or impossible) for us for several reasons: 1) it is not possible to reliably determine the fair value for all companies (e.g., Next Games), 2) our task is to try to exploit market mispricings in both directions (the target price can also be above fair value if we see that the market temporarily accepts exceptional multiples or similar).

Ok. Thanks for the thorough answer. It’s also great that you got to enjoy your vacation… that’s important in your work

It would be good to have the forum rules in Finnish. Maybe then they would be followed better.

I was just thinking the same thing today. Let’s make it a priority to create a Finnish version of that. :flexed_biceps:t3:
