Thanks for the great development work on Inderes.fi. Many great features.
One more idea to consider. Company valuations can be found in chart form on the company pages. Could we get something similar for actual results and earnings forecasts? It would also be great if those could include as long a history as possible, as you have the data available anyway.
Thanks for the valid point! Admittedly, I got a bit carried away with these, but I’ll try to keep the headlines clear in the future so it’s immediately obvious which company is being discussed.
Sometimes the language stays on English even though the site setting is Finnish. I landed on the site via a search engine while logged in, in a new tab. Everything was in English. I went to the forum side, where the language setting was Finnish. Everything was in English there as well. When I changed the language selection to English and back to Finnish, the language still remained English. At the same time, the Finnish-language forum was open in another tab. Browser used: Brave.
A developer for Discourse (the underlying software for the Inderes forum) commented on the previously poorly received changes to the like button on their own forum:
Apparently, they didn’t realize themselves how important likes are on large forums, and now, after a long period of deliberation, they are trying to restore the ability to show all likes ‘as soon as possible’. They’ve certainly managed to make even this task difficult
Hi @Sence, apologies for the confusing language situation! Regarding the forum, there’s a bug there that a fix is coming for. We’ll try to clarify these things between different pages in the future as well
Yeah, I’m a bit puzzled by all the back-and-forth myself. On the other hand, I’ve also been in situations where I’ve pushed changes that inadvertently broke a feature important to other users It’ll get there eventually!
A brief update here as well regarding a few updates from the past few days
There was already some discussion about Inderes MCP in the Inderes Oyj thread. The plan is to add a few more missing data points, including transcripts for YouTube videos. There have been some procedural challenges with this. Let us know if you have any thoughts or requests
Today we also updated the navigation on the inderes.fi site. This should make the site content clearer, be a bit more modern, and free up valuable horizontal space for content and supporting components. Feel free to provide feedback on this as well!
That command symbol (Hannunvaakuna) is a bit of a funny hint for Windows users, suggesting that Ctrl+K should be used as the search shortcut. Are the vast majority of Inderes readers exceptionally Mac users, or what is the reason for such a symbol choice? Or is it just a bug?
I actually intended to check that Windows command today before the release, but it slipped my mind since there were only Macs around me We’ll fix that as @waha mentioned!
I would like the calendar to be highlighted more prominently. A “Happening Today” box on the front page showing the day’s earnings reports, AGMs, share buybacks, etc.
Similarly, a full-year calendar on the company pages featuring earnings reports, annual reports, etc.
The stock and dividend calendars are well-implemented, but they are hidden behind menus and are separate components.
Hi! We changed our payment system a couple of years ago, so it might be related to that if your card has changed or expired in the meantime. If the subscription has simply stopped and everything else looks correct (no money has been charged), you should just renew the subscription
Thanks for the heads-up @Sence! What kind of device are you using? In the mobile version, we reveal hidden content in the navigation; could this be the case? We have a special setting for those who have enabled “Reduced Motion” mode through their phone’s interface.
We welcome feedback on the navigation to make its user experience as comfortable and smooth as possible.
Posting one of the results from my Inderes MCP tinkering here, following @Miikka_Laitila’s instructions. Maybe someone will find this inspiring and get ideas for their own experiments.
@Verneri_Pulkkinen created a playful (of course) extension to Inderes’s official buy-accumulate-reduce-sell rating scale.
According to Verneri’s code, they were as follows regarding the Buy category:
CONVICTION BUY = The analyst believes in the company 150% and the entry point is truly excellent
Buy = Quite okay, read the analysis and consider if it fits your own portfolio
Hazard Buy = The company is really risky, definitely not a “buy” for everyone
Trap Buy = The analyst is trying to suck you into a lousy (value) company for years with a buy recommendation
So, Claude read the latest company report for firms with a Buy recommendation and interpreted, based on the entire shadow rating scale, which shadow rating the AI would assign to the company. (Those who have purchased Claude Max can go through the entire recommendation list at once, but as a basic Pro-level user, I settled for just digging through the shadow ratings found behind the Buy recommendations.)
Results below:
CONVICTION BUY: Enersense, Evli, Fondia Multitude
Buy (I won’t list these, 15 in total, so these correspond to Inderes’s current Buy recommendation)
