Thanks for the updated forum. Looks good.

Suggestion: Including key indices and metrics describing index valuation on the pages. It would make it even easier to see, for example, the forward, backward P/E, and P/B of a few of the world’s most important indices directly from the index pages. Currently, this information has to be dug up from various scattered websites.

This is also coming, so you can see when the target price was given. INSANELY good feedback from a user!

Today there’ll be a cool update  We’ll be able to use Service workers and push notifications through the browser! Add push notifications to a web app  |  Google Codelabs

It would be awesome to have a graph on the stock comparison page or the front page showing the percentage development of the companies in my watchlist. If I could also get the index development in the same graph, I could directly see which stock is making my portfolio underperform the index week after week

Yeah, same here! And it would be fun to be able to follow, say, OMXH, and see different data, such as industry distribution, etc. :+1: This might require quite a bit of coding though

Could there be an indicator visible for new reports released for upgrades, if they are also open to Free users?

Currently, that information can, of course, be found in Aamari by reading the Analyst’s comments, but it’s not directly visible in the news feed on the front page that it is a report open to everyone.

Yay, this is coming quite soon. It’s already in development!

Here’s some feedback from YouTube notifications:

“Hi! My new push notifications haven’t been working quite as expected. Everything works fine on my computer, but I’ve only received notifications twice on my phone

It works on my mobile too, but I have an Android. Your coder Yu probably said it doesn’t work on iPhones because Apple doesn’t support those push notifications.

On the Inderes homepage, when the “Discussions” tab is selected, the stock exchange releases on the left cannot be clicked as links.

When logging in, all open Inderes tabs in the browser are logged in. When logging out, only the active tab is logged out, not all tabs. Logging out from the Inderes homepage requires 2 clicks (My data → Log out).

Interesting. Good point. Fixed and going into production next Monday.

How does this forum make me feel like user surveillance has been taken to a whole new level?

  • Unsenty messages are automatically saved
  • You log in with an email address
  • Logging out doesn’t log you out of all tabs
  • A message deleted by the user isn’t removed immediately but within 24 hours, and others are notified of the message’s deletion.
  • “You have liked topics but are not registered”
  • “Topics you might like”
  • Messages received since your last visit

I’m about to file a GDPR complaint. How is this happening?

You can always handle it through me! I can explain if any of the features seem questionable and you’re wondering why they exist, and if you have any concerns, you can also call me at 0505000093. Recording is done for features that improve the user experience, for example, “Unsent messages are saved automatically.” Recording is done so that an unfinished message doesn’t disappear if, for example, you accidentally press the back button or links. And “Threads you might like” & “Messages received since your last visit” are generally useful for users.

Development suggestion: When a thread has a lot of messages, scrolling through them is quite laggy. When I try to get to the last, i.e., the newest, message, new messages load little by little, and it takes a while to get there. How about a button at the beginning of the thread that takes you directly to the end of the thread or to the last message you’ve read? (Or just somehow smooth out the scrolling?)

Edit: Also, on the front page, under “companies you follow,” couldn’t clicking the company name in that list take you to your page about that company? Now it takes a few more clicks to get there.

Good points! That jump to the latest isn’t too clear. At this stage, next to the “last answer” there’s an element you can click to go to the latest answer in the timeline.

Alternatively, in the listing, you can click the time under “activity” to go to the latest content. (Could be clearer):

That next suggestion of yours is also a good point, let’s fix it ASAP! At this stage, clicking on the graph next to the “companies you follow” listing takes you to the company page:

Thanks for the quick response. Good to know there are these shortcuts here. You’ll learn to use them once you first notice their existence

But they definitely need improving so that they are easier to find!
