Idogen prepares to start the clinical phase 1/2a study with IDO 8 in Norway
Idogen AB (publ) is intensively preparing for the company’s first clinical study with IDO 8 cell therapy in patients with severe hemophilia A and is committed to the participating research centers. In Norway, the company’s clinical research center has made significant progress in preparing for the study.
Idogen has previously received approval from both the Swedish and Norwegian Medical Products Agencies to start the study, and patients to be included have now been identified in Norway. Professor Pål Andre Holme, chief physician at Oslo University Hospital and clinical researcher for Idogen’s study, states in an interview with BioStock that he expects to be able to start the study soon and hopes to start after the summer. In Norway, the approval of the local ethics committee is still pending.
