Financial sector as an investment

Good points!
I recommend listening to Karon grilli’s monologue on the subject. It also opened my eyes to how strange and unclear the valuation basis of that fund is. Three fund companies define their own value using completely different metrics. In addition, the valuation of forest plots within the funds is somewhat… peculiar.
The video also explains that in the initial phase of forest funds, they bought everything available with a yield expectation that traditionally has not been used to buy forests (i.e., low).
Now that wood no longer comes from Russia and wood prices have risen significantly, this has given a tailwind to forest funds and perhaps partly hidden the problems of unclear valuation.
Summa summarum. Watching the video did not, at least for me, inspire me to invest in forest funds.
