That sounds great. When summer comes, I’ll have to try playing myself. ![]()
BUBL’s course jumped nicely again today, +10%. Did this 2nd Beta phase trial lift it?
I don’t want to buy more than a tracking batch before the OWH game starts selling and the HK release is confirmed.
I don’t think so, there have been Beta updates and I don’t think this one was any different from the others. A nice jump upwards. No idea what caused it, is it just a return to the price level from before corona? They have been suspiciously quiet on every channel, hopefully soon we’ll read good news again.
OWH’s sales figures can indeed be anything, from excellent to completely terrible.
OWH’s release is approaching, here’s a response from Discord when asked why in-game purchases are not possible on iOS. (I haven’t found any other information about the countries included in the soft release than that 70 countries were included in the 2019 Beta)
The reason for this is that we are about to go live in selected markets around the world. You as an iOS tester via TestFlight do not pay for the things you buy in the store - and now when we are about to release the game in selected markets, we can’t have some players not paying for the stuff in the store when others do - hence why iOS testers playing the closed beta now can’t buy stuff the the store (you will be able to do that when you download the official version of the game via App Store). Long story short - the in-game shop works as intended for those testing the game on Android, and soon for those Android and iOS players in those markets we will soft launch the game in.
It’s been a good climb this past month, on the way to previous levels and hopefully past them. (As of writing this, 1 month +50%)

They are acquiring another company. The effect on the shares is quite significant, we trust that they know what they are doing. Goodbye Kansas certainly has big clients, of course.
Here’s Dagens Industri’s article on the subject
The outstanding number of shares in Bublar Group before the transaction amounts to 54,913,141. The dilution resulting from the first non-cash issue will be approximately 23 per cent and at the maximum additional consideration approximately 32 per cent.
Just enough to feel it, although it’s a big acquisition. There hasn’t been an insane dip in the share price yet.
We’ll just have to get used to these dilutions and the agonizingly slow maturation of businesses with these small companies; however, they operate in a future successful industry. Sometimes the high risk, high reward thesis does come true, hopefully with this “Bubble” as well.
It remains to be seen. I’ll sit on my pile and wait for them to release one game that would bring in revenue; after that, we can look at world domination.

And the soft release of Otherworld Heroes in Sweden, Poland and Indonesia

Now we just wait for the first download figures and player comments. Q1 earnings release next Thursday.
A small rise is brewing at a +6% pace. They are actively communicating on many fronts, Otherworld Heroes has been released in selected markets, 3D and AR technology content is going to new customers, etc. Fortunately, the whole thing is not dependent on HK.
I almost lost faith when the share price dropped below 3 SEK, but my average price is still around 5 SEK, as I didn’t bother to lower it.
I’ve been following this on and off for half a year and was about to add it, but the pandemic threw a wrench in the works. It’s nice that they got the game out, but isn’t this the worst time to release a game based on physical movement? The lifting of movement and other restrictions offers a small glimmer of hope. Maybe people will get excited about this and play it alongside Pokemon Go? Maybe, maybe, let’s hope, etc. Buying this is purely based on the hope that the game(s) will gain momentum. This really reminds me of Next Games.
I see the pandemic as both a threat and an opportunity. The threat is what you said, but the opportunity is people’s desire to be outdoors and in nature. In that sense, this kind of game is like geocaching, or something.
Great, @V.Buffet! Excellent picks, thanks to everyone else too. Keep up the good work ![]()
This thread doesn’t have a lot of visitors, but let’s not let that discourage us. At least for me, your finds help and interest me!
This stock has been on a nice run these past few days. Too bad I can’t really find any info on how Otherworld Heroes has been received in the countries where it’s already “released,” or am I just not looking hard enough?
Based on the stock, there’s a good buzz around this company, though.
You can get some idea from there.
Q1 numbers are coming on Wednesday, then we’ll see the next direction.
Quite polarized reviews. Most are either five stars or a paltry one star. Of course, this is also influenced by the relatively small number of downloads and reviews, so accuracy will improve over time!
I read the reviews, and almost everyone who left one star had problems even getting the game to work. This could be due to many reasons unrelated to the game…
The main thing, however, is that the game generally works for most people and is apparently quite good!
From what I glanced at in the reviews, the 5-star reviews smelled like they were from shareholders, and the 1-star reviews suggested that people hadn’t realized they had to move from point A to point B for the character to progress. The game has also had some back-end server issues, which is somewhat normal when a game and its servers are run on a smaller sample to withstand larger loads.
This is why it’s a soft release and currently only at 0.8.
IMO.
The final word on the Goodbye Kansas acquisition should also be coming soon, especially if they want to include some numbers in the Q1 report. (May 20th.)
Bublar’s Q1, https://cdn.bublar.com/corporate/Delarsrapport%20januari%20-%20mars%202020.pdf
In my opinion, it’s pretty much in line with expectations, heading in a better direction even though investments are weighing down the business (product development, acquisitions, etc.).
It’s on its way to becoming a hit; I wouldn’t call it a miss yet. Q2 results will start to show sales of the OWH game and possibly a small boost from the Hello Kitty game. The 3D/AR business is also on a good growth trajectory.
The numbers were pretty much what I expected. A small alarm signal is that sentence which I myself easily interpreted as Hello Kitty being released sometime when the Tokyo Olympics can be held. This would be a bad blow if it were so, as we would lose a year’s worth of revenue and it must be remembered that games age and technology develops, which is why (+ expensive development costs) games are pushed to market half-finished and refined on the fly. I hope I’m interpreting it wrong, but they should open up about this more.
For our second proprietary game Hello Kitty AR:
Kawaii World, we have an ongoing dialogue with
Sanrio about launch strategy, as the goal has been to
launch in conjunction with the Olympics. Right now we
are evaluating various options, taking into account
the new date of the Olympics and Covid-19 and
which markets are sufficiently open for location-
based games.
