YouTube may expand into audiobooks next year. According to the WSJ, the company is in talks with publishers and considering adding audiobooks to its Premium subscription.
It is still completely up in the air how the service would work and whether books would cost extra. At the same time, YouTube would be setting out to challenge Spotify and Amazon’s Audible.
