Earlier, Google dropped the price of the AI Plus subscription, and this week came an announcement that the Gemini Pro 3 model will be removed from the AI Plus plan in November. Going forward, the Pro model will only be available starting from the Pro tier. There has probably already been some downgrading of the Pro usage on that AI Plus plan, as it has been glitching out thoroughly over the past few days and, by its own admission, hasn’t always been able to perform web searches. For example, the model didn’t know that a company that went public in the summer of 2025 was listed, considering it unlisted 
great holding a conversation with that.
Apparently, the Flash and Flash-lite models are the ones that will be run on budget subscriptions and for free in the future. The thinking levels were also updated in Gemini; previously, there were two levels, “extended” and “standard”. Now there are low (fast and efficient), medium (balanced), and high (extremely thorough).
