For example, Finland’s largest laboratory, Fimlab, reports that it is already using artificial intelligence specifically in prostate cancer research, as well as in breast cancer.
Fimlab has been using AI to support the identification and classification of breast cancers since autumn 2023 and in prostate cancer diagnostics since the beginning of this spring. The goal is to also implement AI in the identification of colorectal cancers.
