Here are Antti’s comments regarding the acquisition of Aiforia’s partner by Agilent, a US-based laboratory and diagnostics company. 
The cash purchase price is 240 MUSD, with an additional earnout of up to 30 MUSD payable to the sellers. The acquisition continues the industry consolidation that we covered in connection with the Roche–PathAI deal in this article. From Aiforia’s perspective, the news is interesting, as Proscia is one of the company’s key platform partners. In our view, Aiforia could also be a potential acquisition target in the consolidation of the sector.
