I have to comment on this. A card definitely doesn’t beat Apple and Google Pay in speed. I don’t know you, and I don’t know how well you handle mobile payments. Mobile Pay is a much worse mobile payment experience than Apple or Google Pay, so there, the card probably wins. I hope you have actually tried what mobile payment is like at its best, if you also use your own experiences in investment decisions. Personal experiences are by no means a bad thing, but in that case, you have to compare it to the best experience.
My stance on this case is that it will remain a niche product, especially if the consumer has to pay something extra for it.
