I am currently working on my master’s thesis for the Turku School of Economics on private investors’ investment behavior during crises. The crises examined in the thesis are the Covid-19 pandemic and Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine. The aim is to find out whether a second consecutive crisis has changed Finnish private investors’ investment behavior compared to the first crisis, and if so, in what ways. The thesis also examines the impact of social media on investment behavior during crises.
Answering takes 5-10 minutes and is completely confidential and anonymous. At the beginning of the survey, you will find more information about answering the survey and data processing. The survey is open until April 25, 2025. At the end of the survey, you can participate in a draw for a 50 euro S-Group gift card by leaving your email address!

In the other one, the intention is probably to ask questions about Russia’s war of aggression
In this question, the wording is a bit peculiar, as the war is still active.

Thank you very much for your comment! There seems to have been an error with saving the survey, but the questions you pointed out have now been corrected
The phrasing of the questions is indeed a bit tricky, as the war is still ongoing, but for the thesis, a time limit had to be set. For this reason, regarding the war, we decided to limit the period under review to the years 2022-2024, which is also reflected in the questions.
