Tallink Group thread

Riku-Matti Akkanen has written a piece on Tallink’s performance.

For investors, the overall picture is twofold but more stable than before.

Tallink is not yet generating large profits, but the direction of the business looks better. Passengers are returning to the ships, losses are narrowing, and dividend payments have returned to the agenda.

Swedbank lowered Tallink’s target price to EUR 0.55 from the previous EUR 0.60 and reiterated a neutral rating for the stock.

According to Ollisaari, however, stable dividends mitigate the negative pressure on the target price, which supports the stock’s attractiveness in an uncertain market.

Subheadings:

  1. Passengers are returning to the ships
  2. Cost pressures have not disappeared
