Smart Eye - King of automotive’s Interior Sensing AI?

Yes, Toyota’s second generation of software-defined vehicles (SDVs) will enter production in the summer of 2027. Smart Eye has very likely been named as the Tier-1 supplier for DMS (Driver Monitoring System) and as a Tier-2 supplier for other cabin monitoring for the first two models, possibly as an optional feature, given that the value was significantly smaller than the DMS. In the Q1 earnings call, Martin answered a follower’s questions regarding Toyota, stating that Toyota has several different programs and that it offers them opportunities to be involved in many ways. I wonder if the Design Win below has already been won with Aisin?

Yesterday, a stock exchange release was issued regarding a display-integrated DMS camera with Visteon.

Visteon has been busy and has been presenting the solution to many partners in Europe in addition to trade fairs.

Assumed Toyota wins:

Very much as expected. Shorts have decreased. I picked this up from Nordnet.

GSA Capital Partners has reduced its short position in the technology company Smart Eye to below 0.50 percent of the capital, and is therefore no longer a public short seller in the company. This is shown in the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s short-selling register.

There is one public short seller in the company. In total, 2.17 percent of the company’s capital is shorted.

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) requires that positions exceeding 0.1 percent be reported and short positions exceeding 0.5 percent be made public.
