I thought I’d write a small ABC or 101 of forum rules, as this forum also operates on certain principles.
Every message should, in principle, add value to the discussion. These could be interesting observations, personal analyses, or thoughts. You are also encouraged to ask puzzling questions on the forum, so that each of us can become better investors! However, it is important to remember that the forum is divided into its own channels, and different types of questions and comments should be placed in their respective channels.

Other things to note:
Sharing news You are allowed to share news on the forum. If you link to a news article, it’s good to briefly summarize and highlight the main points for other discussants, and also explain why this news is significant. Copying only links or news articles should be avoided. Also, remember to read the thread a bit before sharing news or asking a question. The same news might have already been shared, or the same question already asked.
Flagging and flags: We encourage you to flag messages that, in the opinion of readers, do not comply with the forum rules. Flags are visible to moderators, and then moderators decide what to do with the message. The message can either be deleted, moved, or hidden, in which case the author is advised to edit the message, or the flag can be dismissed if it is unfounded. If flagging continues to bother you, you can send a message to the moderators and kindly ask why a message was deleted or why, for example, you have been banned for a short period.
