I was thinking of starting a new thread for saving tips, but after searching, I found the most suitable existing one, so thereâs no need to create a new one.
If I think about my friends and acquaintances who would like to invest or build a larger portfolio, of course, better results are achieved by investing smarter, etc.
However, I believe that for many, the decisive reason is that they may not know how or be able to save, and I say this not critically but understandingly. Of course, everyoneâs desires and situations are different, so no one here can really give comprehensive advice for everyone, but I think it would be good to have one slightly larger thread on saving, even if itâs a bit rambling.
I would just like to see more discussion about how we could use money more wisely and save without suffering, in other words, financial management. Of course, this is an investment forum, so we know where the money we save often flows.
I wouldnât mind if the discussion in this thread became even more active, and perhaps with tips from others, each of us could make better choices, both in terms of quality of life and financially, in the long run.
Itâs worth watching Verneriâs and Jasminâs chatter in the opening post, as well as the preceding messages; they contain tips that can help you save âa lotâ of money, and even relatively easily. If Verneri ever had time to make more videos or other material related to saving, that would be really nice.
â-Save immediately when your paycheck hits your accountâ This tip from the opening message has worked for many of my friends who previously never saved anything. Now, on payday, money automatically goes, for example, into low-cost/no-cost funds. Itâs so simply easy, but thatâs often how the best saving tips seem to be.
