It was a pretty good investment in the end, even though it required a lot of trading at lower prices. The original purchase was around $29 back then, but the result of the whole mess was still a nice 65% profit
I bought a small batch (0.3% of the portfolio) of Raute for a short hold, as the company opened up its year-end outlook with some kind of positive profit warning.
I was a bit late for the announcement, as there was a hustle and bustle at Moskova station.
Still havenât really had time to trim the larger positions in the portfolio. Must continue researching the matter tomorrow.
Bought an initial position in OMSE at $3.58 / 3710 pcs. Found such an interesting company over the weekend that it was hard to keep my pants on until the stock market opened
ENPH traded out. These HIMS.
Hims invested in GRAIL. Now I see it. Preventive health care is here.
Offer a cancer test like GLP-1. If cancer is found, offer a compounded drug. Nice one
Got into Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) in the overnight market. The company already shot up over 20% yesterday after its earnings report, and I believe the movement will continue. Many positive developments, contract wins with car manufacturers in the private sector and with the Ministry of Defense in the public sector, and additionally, the company reported potential rare earth element discoveries in its mining operations. The company is dirt cheap, with a P/S (Price-to-Sales) well below one, so even small positive developments can cause a beautiful re-pricing. There is debt, of course, so a stock offering or similar after a price rally could weigh on the stock price, but I still see a good opportunity here to catch a nice uptrend in the coming weeks, perhaps even months.
A little more Seligson Europe and Asia for a portfolio that is increasingly becoming more index-like. The cold war between active and passive investing, which lasted over a decade, is coming to an end. There isnât enough passion, professional skill, or even time for active portfolio management.
I gave my all, for a moment I could sway I paid for golden dreams with the sorrow of my mind
Incap at 9.46, we are near year lows. Pre-expectations for the earnings report are not very high. Trading in the stock is almost halted, a small chance for a positive surprise for which not much is needed. I sold a euro higher, so I guess the lightening (of the position) could be called successful.
Fortum sold. Was on board for a long time and dividends poured in. Now the price seemed so good for selling that I pulled the trigger. I aim to buy back at a lower level. Thanks Fortsa!
Opening a position in the Swedish serial acquirer Teqnion (100 shares). The company published an impressive interim report, to which the stock reacted with an approximately 25 percent rise. I bought a starter position despite this, as the company seems to have achieved a turnaround in profitability (excluding non-recurring items). It is a small-cap company with significant growth potential in a niche field in the Nordics and Britain. The companyâs DNA also includes value investing, which I personally like. Iâll keep following it and add more when cash is available again
