Hello,
I am a third-year business administration student specializing in finance at Jamk University of Applied Sciences. I am writing my thesis on “Small investors’ experiences of the stock savings account’s impact on investment behavior.” For this thesis, I am conducting a study to explore investors’ experiences with stock savings accounts, what has encouraged their adoption, what kind of investors use the account and how they use it, and to examine its effects on stock investment activity and behavior. The survey is completely anonymous, and no personal data is collected. The responses received will only be used in connection with this thesis, after which the data will be destroyed. No third party will have access to the data.
Due to the topic of the study, you should have at least some history and experience with stock investing to be able to answer the survey. Responses are welcome from both beginners and experienced veterans. Whether you use only a stock savings account, a book-entry account, or both for your stock investing, your response is extremely important for the success of the study. However, I especially hope you will respond if you actively invest with both a book-entry account and a stock savings account, or if you have previously invested with a book-entry account and have fully switched to a stock savings account or vice versa.
The number of questions presented in the survey varies depending on whether you invest only with a stock savings account or a book-entry account, or if you utilize both accounts in your investment activities. I ask you to answer the questions presented by reflecting on your activities over approximately the last six years. Depending on the questions asked, the time it takes to answer the survey is estimated to be 6–12 minutes.
I appreciate every response and thank you for your time!
