Well, I’m pondering the same thing here; if old signs hold true, then now would be a good time to sell. But for some reason, I don’t think I dare…
Sorry for this ‘zero post’ but let it go since the thread is otherwise quiet!

I added this to my trading portfolio again today, as it’s making nice moves. Now the volume is good again and it’s breaking through the resistance level. There’s potential in its fundamentals too, and it’s an interesting stock to balance the portfolio.
I stumbled upon that Stocktwist forum to read about Mind.
@Perttu_Hamalainen and @Simppa1, might you be there? If the answer is yes and you have followed the recent discussions, e.g., between Capteen and Sig, could you kindly share something from there here?
I can’t keep up with that discussion anymore, for example, about some video?
Thanks and apologies if I’m asking too much!
Edit. Well, that Sig is quite a bullish character…
Have you made any sense of what it’s based on?
Good morning! ![]()
Yes, the discussion there is sometimes quite bullish, but here are the main points according to my understanding:
In April of this year, Trump issued an executive order specifically on the exploration of rare earth elements from the seabed, so that the United States would not be so dependent on China’s production.
NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) sent a draft legislation to OIRA (the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs) on 28.10.2025, which would amend DSHRMA (the Deep Seabed Hard Mineral Resource Act).
OIRA generally has 90 days to process the draft, but according to Captain, 60-90 days is realistic, and Sig refers to a Paradigm Press video (behind a paywall) where someone probably estimates the processing to take about 45 days. (The same person is probably very bullish about the whole thing (Sig refers to someone predicting a 48-fold increase
)).
As a result of the legislative change, the exploration and mining/extraction of rare earth elements from the seabed would be more streamlined, which is seen as increasing demand for Mind’s products.
Sig refers to the changes enabling the exploration of 2.6 million square kilometers, and from this, different shares can be projected for Mind.
One potential risk is, for example, the provisions of UNCLOS (The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) regarding who owns seabed minerals, but the United States has not signed the agreement and, regarding customary law, states that it has been a persistent objector, at least with respect to certain provisions/customs.
There has been no recent news from management about additional orders, so there is also discussion about the risk of a shrinking order book and why press releases are not more actively issued if orders have actually materialized.
This is by no means an invitation to invest, as the thesis on rare metals is still based entirely on speculation. ![]()
Thanks @Simppa1 for the comprehensive answer!![]()

Let’s wait and see. I’ve been very concerned about this radio silence from the company…
I wrote on the same forum when China started to exert pressure with rare earth metals.
Mind Technology’s stock rose in after-hours trading after the company announced its Seamap unit had received over $9.5 million in orders from an international seismic contractor.
The orders are for GunLink controllers and equipment, with deliveries scheduled for this or next fiscal year. According to the company itself, interest in the products remains strong.
