Meta introduced the palm-sized Muse Charm device, which allows users to access its AI assistant without a phone.
Going on sale by December, the device features a small screen and 5G connectivity. In addition, the company also announced new smart glasses, such as a camera-free model. Muse will also gain the ability to use a computer and conduct e-commerce transactions. Zuckerberg believes that the assistant will eventually reach billions of users.
The Meta CEO said Muse could generate financial returns for users, and that Meta was leaning into this feature by making Muse free for a “huge number of tokens,” with plans to charge a “small” transaction fee.
“In the coming years, I expect that Muse is going to grow into the personal superintelligence that billions of people are going to use,” Zuckerberg said.
Zuckerberg unveiled more personalization options for Muse, with users able to alter their AI agent’s appearance and voice. He also said Muse will be tightly integrated into Meta’s AI smart glasses.
