Aiforia’s Euphoria was short-lived, the cooperation
So today is Triple Witching, one of four days a year (the third Friday of March, June, September, and December) when stock options, stock index futures, and stock index options expire simultaneously, so the last hour of trading can be quite hectic as trading volumes rise significantly.
So it’s possible that we’ll be able to cheer and/or lament the performance of various stocks late in the evening.
On Monday, the uranium sector made a breakout, then there was a momentarily quite strong pullback, and now again, towards the end of the week, the electricity generation sector, which usually receives little attention, also started to rocket to new levels. ![]()
I got into that IREN hype. Now almost breaking 40 USD. All sorts of things.
Here’s a beautiful stock performance: At the turn of 2022/2023, this could be bought for <$5, and on Friday it closed at almost $400. So, this has almost hundred-folded its price in less than three years.
Sunday’s anecdote: At that time, I was watching NFL games via NFL Game Pass, and Carvana ads were shown in those broadcasts. They were so well made that even I started thinking about buying a car, even though I wasn’t in the market for one and lived in Vietnam, where I traveled from place to place by motorcycle. Congratulations to the owners!

This domestic construction stock saw quite strong growth. It will be interesting to see if Wednesday’s ex-dividend date reverses the stock’s direction.

It seems only about half came off, so the dip should be around €0.75, as it appears to be.
What’s bothering Aiforia? In my own scenarios, I’ve gradually prepared for the whole company to be bought out. Last spring, however, a gentleman with experience in corporate acquisitions and various other things joined the board; one would at least think he has connections. Here’s a link to the fellow.
