Let’s see how this ultimately turns out; no one can say for sure yet, but in the case of Delli, we are, in a very fascinating way, right at the core of stock picking based purely on fundamentals.
There has been some rigorous fundamental analysis on the forum, both in terms of reports and out in the field. Special mention goes to the mango tasters, including @Pohjolan_Eka and the thread starter @poutapilvia.
Mr. Market decided to increase the difficulty level just right, dumping a bucket of cold water on the mango enthusiasts and hitting them with a -50% drop, which turns the sentiment regarding the stock upside down and causes investors collectively to start questioning everything related to the company. I’m sure that for many, the taste of the mangoes even turned sour in their mouths along with the share price drop
On the forum, they’re adding fuel to the fire, churning out memes, mocking it as a “debt stock,” and calling it all sorts of other things.
Such a rapid collapse and shift in sentiment tests the psyche of even the toughest stock picker. If you aren’t capable of independent thinking, this is the point where you end up following the lemming herd. This is what real stock picking is—taking a strong view and taking hits from Mr. Market
Regardless of how it turns out, it is a truly interesting and educational case, particularly from the perspective of investment psychology, and one that will certainly stay in memory.
Well, maybe Nokian Tyres (Renkaat) has gone up along with “The Nokian” (referring to Nokia), if that’s the main reason for the wild rise in Nokian Tyres’ stock. ![]()
Five years ago, I probably would have thought of these as boringly safe investment targets. ![]()

SEB cuts Huhtamäki to hold (buy), target price €27 (39)
This is likely the reason behind Huhtamäki’s morning dip. Does anyone happen to see the reasoning?

Best stock ever!
The risk of an acquisition is bound to drive up the share price. The market refuses to pay the true price for a company until someone announces their intention to buy the business out. The buyer surely doesn’t want to pay more than fair value, so the situation is always somewhat paradoxical.
On Friday, the fair price of the stock was 20% lower. That was the fair price then; now, the fair price has changed as if by magic over the weekend. Therefore, there are at least two prices: the price in stock market trading and the price when buying it out of the market.
On a normal trading day, you’ll find buyers for at most a few percent of the company’s total shares, and usually even less than that. Of course, the share price goes up if someone is interested in buying 100% of the shares.
Honkarakenne is on a roll with a trading volume of around 13 thousand euros ![]()

However, many studies indicate that is exactly what happens. And the market seems to agree. In most acquisitions, the target company’s share price rises, while the buyer’s falls.
Here is an old article on the subject, for example:
Equinor climbed happily today. The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is looking tricky again. A stable genius plans to take a 20% cut of the currently almost non-existent traffic, seeing the US role as a guardian angel as so valuable. It is indeed a grotesque spectacle.
Oil inventories are still presumably quite thin, and winter is coming this year as well.
Does Equinor hedge against geopolitical storms and energy crises? The volatility of my own portfolio is likely lower than the major indices. Equinor makes up 7%. Refining margins are also at an excellent level, and they do have refining operations, after all.
Trump’s announcement is starting to show in the price of crude oil. Here we go again.

I ended up buying disappointingly little Pandora; it was difficult at the time to estimate where precious metals would go next. Gold and silver prices have fallen from their peaks, so naturally, the jewelry manufacturer likes that.
