It seems to be a global rotation from US tech to other sectors. And in Finland, as can be seen from various threads, there’s a return from the USA to Finland and Finnish indices, so this will probably raise the indices.

Why is Huhtamäki stock creeping downwards even though it’s otherwise a pretty nice day on the Helsinki Stock Exchange? Are we just dutifully closing some gap there, or what’s the deal?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Huhtamäki has a lot of production and market in North America, so if the market is now looking unfavorably at North American opportunities and inflation risk, then Huhtamäki should also be approached cautiously. On the other hand, this doesn’t seem to work the other way around; when things are booming in the US, Huhtamäki’s stock still plods along like other Helsinki stocks. Or are Huhtamäki positions just being sold off when more interesting choices are available?
