I read up on Berenberg, which issued the buy recommendation, and it seems to be a large analysis firm with deep knowledge of medtech.
Today’s trading volume was ~2.5 x the 30-day average. I need to keep an eye on how the volume develops in the coming days and weeks—whether some larger capital holder was just buying a big chunk today or if the interest will persist.
The aforementioned and referenced CMD presentation is also available here in video format: https://edge.media-server.com/mmc/go/KurosCapitalMarketDay2026/. Highly recommended! Kuros’ management, especially the CEO, always comes across as very convincing, and their communication materials are of high quality overall. Because of this, I believe they are also good at sales. The visiting doctors are also good presenters; this time, it included a “foot & ankle” expert, an entertaining and clearly respected Brit, Dr. Andrew Goldberg. His presentation certainly gave me the feeling that this segment could well grow into a significant part of Kuros’ business. In the Q&A, the CEO downplayed it slightly by noting that less material is used for the ankle than for the spine ![]()
Regarding investments: The CFO mentioned that the production in the Netherlands is sufficient until 2027, and of course, the expansion currently underway in the USA costs a lot of money. Who knows how the market will react to the 2026 earnings releases and how quickly eyes will turn to 2028 and beyond. The share price reaction after the CMD was about -15% in a week, so the short-term impact of those investments has clearly been calculated critically, and the reiterated >35% revenue growth guidance probably wasn’t quite what was hoped for (Q1/26 was +51% YoY). Under-promise & over-perform? If only one knew ![]()
