Today’s Trader’s Club episode was a continuous facepalm, but for that very reason, it was one of the most entertaining episodes.
Lepikkö ranting about Tesla and its strong fundamentals. Luckily, I didn’t choke on my coffee.

And hey, I agree that the company is probably a good money-maker fundamentally in the long run if everything goes perfectly. But not with P/E ratios of 200 with such a large market cap… You can’t pay just anything for even the best company in the world.
The biggest problem with these multiples is that if the market gets even a slight whiff of doubt that the future isn’t as rosy because of competition and a few other companies being able to catch up with Tesla’s lead, the share price will collapse in such a way that cryptocurrencies suddenly look like stable products.
Plugi is dragging into the green, I wonder if we dare to hope for a comeback in renewables…
Stable growth based on fundamentals is hoped for!
Having recently tested all sorts of electric cars (possibly for myself), I really don’t understand what Tesla’s lead is all about. Not in terms of quality, at least… Maybe if you compare them to American cars.
We’ll see if my time is ripe for an electric car.
Holy hell. A month’s salary in the red today. What’s happening in the markets for the prices to be swinging like that? What annoys me the most is not having cash ![]()
There are always market dips. Now I’m just annoyed because I don’t have cash, and I don’t want to lighten any of the papers in my portfolio (a positive problem?), and there are interesting opportunities to add to almost all of the 18 stocks in my portfolio
They’ll still rise after the summer, at the latest.
Hopefully, it stays in the dip at least until the end of the month ![]()
When do you think peace will return to the markets? It feels like we’re accelerating from one bubble to another, only to see them burst. In the past six months, we’ve already seen crypto, SPAC, hydrogen, EV, cannabis, and meme stock (well, a couple of those are still holding on) bubbles. What’s left? Next up, the value stock bubble ![]()
It’s only good if some of the air is let out of the worst hype waves.
Today, however, it seems that cryptocurrencies have taken the biggest hit. I don’t know if there was any other driver than the alleged story that China would be banning crypto trading (which apparently is at least a colored truth, although someone following the topic more closely might be able to tell more precisely what’s going on).
And stocks might then follow suit because if there are people heavily leveraged in cryptocurrencies and margin calls are ringing, something has to be liquidated…
Are you implying that “Elon Musk’s future innovations” are not a good basis for an investment?
Well. Tell me a bit more about these real-life experiences. I am a Tesla-bear, of course, but I also have the same impression that Tesla currently has a technical advantage (which, of course, is not reflected in quality or price).
I’m probably weighing in on this unnecessarily, as I’ve never been particularly interested in what Lepikko, or any other trader/individual investor for that matter, does. But what has caught my eye in recent days/weeks is Lepikko becoming a target. Is it really true that the guy has been so successful that now, when one failure (is it a failure or a temporary situation?) occurred, many here are stabbing him in the back, or pointing a finger saying “damn what an idiot, I told you so”?
One could turn that into the famous saying, “the exception proves the rule”?
Anyway, I haven’t delved into Lepikko’s history and probably won’t do so now, but when he’s brought up here, one inevitably “hears” some things…
Could be. I don’t know the man, nor do I know more of his history than those videos, so I won’t comment on the guy in general terms. That one sentence just made my ears smile.
Tesla just reminds me of how pampered “Musk-ites” are now! If just a month ago, when the stock was 25% higher, it was considered a sure thing, a dominant industry leader, and not overvalued, then by that logic, people should be pawning off their mother-in-law to take advantage of this little dip.
I wish us Harvia believers were pampered the same way and the stock would drop 25% ![]()

Elon has received angry feedback on Twitter from Doge investors. Sometimes it’s hard to understand people’s stupidity ![]()
How many of these are trolls and bots, I wonder? In the image above, you can already see two identical messages from different accounts.
There must be some genuine cases there too. However, if one has taken Musk’s tweets as direct guidelines and gone all in, then they can only blame themselves if they lost everything today, especially if they played with heavy leverage.
Oh boy… it’s quite telling how some of the debaters don’t even know the correct name of the coin, confusing doge/dodge. This perhaps illustrates how enthusiastic and unknowledgeable money has flowed into these. My own crypto portfolio has taken a hit, but I’ve only moved tens / hundreds of euros into it occasionally, just out of hobbyism. I won’t lose sleep or my retirement savings in this crash.
Isn’t Dodge some popular American car ![]()
Angela’s message was interesting, indeed. Elon is quite the character, but then again, it’s one’s own stupidity if you put money into dogecoins, shitcoins, and so on.
A new model is coming, directly aimed at the aging urban population. This should turn the tide:
A Dodge is such a shitty car that you’ll waste as much money on it as you would on Doge ![]()
