I meant to say that since the partners of AA law firms are in the position of entrepreneurs, their working days are often long, and thus more billable hours are generated as well.
However, Fondia’s lawyers are employees by default, which means they have both fewer incentives to work overtime and the employer is less eager to challenge the interpretations of the Working Hours Act (työaikalaki).

As @Turisti6 explained below, a heavy work pace is also expected from junior lawyers “on Espa” (regardless of whether the office is actually located there). Unpaid overtime is common and “the way things are done” is somewhat in tension with the strict interpretation of the Working Hours Act—which is what I was referring to in my text.
