A few years ago, Faron reacted to every piece of news with massive surges. Even now, Faron’s problem isn’t the cost of drug development, but a lack of trust, the groundwork for which was laid first by Markku and then by Juho with their overly optimistic talk about partnerships. The science is moving forward like a train and I believe this will turn out well, but empty promises carry heavy consequences. The risk is still high, but significantly lower than before. Now, the share price won’t rise based on anyone’s talk; actual proof is required now. I still have some mild criticism for Faron regarding how investors have now been sacrificed on the altar of science. If we were to end up in a situation where they need to or want to raise more money from investors, it would already be urgent to have the person in charge of investor relations communicate directly with investors, for example right here. After all, the forum is followed by the London dual-listing audience, and since we aren’t in the US, someone from inside the company needs to beat the drum. Otherwise, a year from now, we’ll be in a situation where the patents are sold off and someone else reaps the profits. Now the company needs to start taking care of the owners too, just as we have taken care of the company.
