I wouldn’t say it’s a scam, but rather that the company is in deep trouble. At least the things I’ve mentioned can be read in the company’s own publications. Bankruptcy risk isn’t shouted from the rooftops, but I was able to get a picture of the situation in less than fifteen minutes.
I don’t see many reasons why an outsider would buy this company. By buying the estate through bankruptcy, one gets rid of the warranty liabilities this company has, which could still lead to compensation claims based on past performance.
Due to the bankruptcy risk, the sales pipeline might be blocked because customers inevitably face uncertainty about whether they will receive their products, and even if they did, would the warranty period even matter?
Rarely has any company’s situation screamed “don’t buy” as loudly as this one. But of course, do your own review of the numbers, etc.!
