I’m saving the OMX Helsinki 25 information here—joining it would undoubtedly create even more buying pressure on Bittium.
Hold your horses, apparently at the end of June, the most traded stocks from 1H2026 are checked. This means today’s 18th most traded Helsinki stock, Bittium (turnover 8 MEUR), would need to stay high in the turnover rankings for a long time. Today’s 25th place was reached with 4.2 MEUR turnover, or 3.8 MEUR if the Sitowise block trade is excluded.
So, the turnover bar for entering the index is high. There should probably be more robot trading…
PS: The “Oululainen of the Year” vote has been noted on the KL (Kauppalehti) side; PeTo is on the loose, meaning Petri Toljamo is getting a lot of votes. When voting, you have to select ‘Someone else, who’.

OMX Helsinki 25 is the Helsinki Stock Exchange leading share index. The index consists of the 25 most actively traded stocks on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. The limited number of constituents guarantees that all the underlying shares of the index have excellent liquidity, which results in an index that is highly suitable as underlying for derivatives products. OMXH25 is used as a benchmark index for management of diversified Finnish stock portfolios. Options and futures on OMXH25 are traded at Eurex. The OMXH25 Index is a capitalization weighted stock price index. The maximum weight of one company is limited to 10 percent. The composition of the OMXH25 index is revised twice a year. The numbers of shares used to compute the market value are determined on a quarterly basis. This version of the index; the OMXH25GI is a market weighted total return index. The base date for OMXH25GI is December 30, 2013 with a base value of 2835,17.
All securities that meet the applicable Security Eligibility Criteria are ranked by Nasdaq official median daily turnover in Euro (EUR) during the six (6) calendar months starting six (6) calendar months prior to the Reconstitution reference date, are considered for inclusion in the Index based on the following criterion:
• The top 25 securities ranked by turnover are selected for inclusion in the Index.
