YIT is building a new building for the Kamppi Health and Wellbeing Centre for the City of Helsinki, and its construction work will be completed more than a year ahead of schedule. The building can be handed over to the City of Helsinki already at the end of September 2026, meaning the city will get access to the new premises potentially more than 400 days earlier than planned. A renovated access route to the metro station and Kamppi shopping centre will be opened through the new building.
The Health and Wellbeing Centre will open in spring 2027, once the city has prepared the premises to receive staff and customers.

Tripla Mall Ky has paid approximately 51 million euros as capital repayment and distributed profits to its silent partner YIT Housing Oy, enabled by refinancing.
YIT will use the received funds, as well as previously received capital repayments and distributed profits from Tripla Mall Ky, totaling approximately 57 million euros, for the partial repayment of YIT’s secured bank loan (approximately 50 million euros) and for the partial repayment and partial cancellation of YIT’s secured revolving credit facility (approximately 8 million euros).
The received capital repayment and distributed profits have no impact on YIT’s reported result.

YIT commenced the construction of a self-developed residential apartment building project named Asunto Oy Raision Taimi in Raisio. 34 new YIT Homes will be built in the five-story residential building. The project’s value is approximately 7 million euros. Construction started in November 2025 and the property is scheduled for completion in November 2026.
The apartment building, located in the Kerttula area of Raisio, has a residential area of nearly 2,000 square meters. The apartments in Raision Taimi range from 36.5 to 81.5 square meters, and one can choose from various floor plans, from two-room apartments to four-room apartments. Bright landscape windows offer views of the surrounding nature, bringing nature into everyday life. The apartments are flexibly designed to meet various life situations and needs.
Over the past year, YIT has commenced construction of a total of 441 new YIT Homes in 10 housing companies in Finland, including Asunto Oy Raision Taimi.

YIT has established a joint venture with the Czech-Slovak ONE FAMILY OFFICE in the Czech Republic. The aim of the cooperation is to strengthen the growth of the Housing CEE segment. The joint venture supports YIT’s strategic focus on improving capital efficiency. YIT and ONE FAMILY OFFICE each own 50% of the newly established joint venture. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.
The joint venture’s first project is Lumo Braník, a residential development in Prague’s 4th district. The project will see the construction of a modern residential area with approximately 150 apartments on the site of the former Kuta Centrum administrative building. Construction is estimated to begin in 2026. The location combines a peaceful environment with excellent transport connections and comprehensive services, making it an attractive option for sustainable urban living.
The cooperation focuses on residential projects in the Czech Republic, where YIT has strong experience and a well-known brand. YIT is responsible for the development, construction, and sales of the projects, while ONE FAMILY OFFICE participates in their financing.

YIT, the Wellbeing Services County of Central Uusimaa (Keusote), and the Municipality of Tuusula have signed a development phase agreement for the construction project of the Tuusula health and social care center (sote center) and the Varuskunnanaukio parking facility. The project will be implemented as a collaborative project management contract in the center of Hyrylä, Tuusula. The target budget for the project management contract, as defined by the clients and aiming for the implementation phase following the development phase, is approximately EUR 44 million. The target budget will be specified during the development phase.
The project includes the design and construction of the health and social care center and the adjacent parking facility, including their outdoor areas. Three floors above ground and one underground floor are planned for the health and social care center. In accordance with the project’s environmental and sustainability goals, low carbon emissions and energy efficiency will be taken into account during the development phase, and efforts will be made to promote biodiversity.
The health and social care center will include facilities for Keusote, the Municipality of Tuusula, and the HUS Diagnostic Center, as well as for private operators. The health and social care center will serve all residents of the wellbeing services county.
The development phase will get into full swing in January, and the goal is to move to the project’s implementation phase, which will last approximately two years, in the summer of 2026.

YIT has started construction on a self-developed housing project, Housing Company (Asunto Oy) Oulun Merijalinportti, in Oulu. Merijalinportti will consist of 36 new YIT Homes in two buildings: an apartment building and a terraced house. The project is valued at nearly 15 million euros. Construction began in December 2025, and the project is scheduled for completion in September 2027.

In line with its strategy, YIT is seeking growth in rail transport infrastructure projects in Finland. To strengthen its expertise in railway and track construction, YIT has agreed to acquire the railway service business of Electric Power Finland Oy. Following the transaction, the personnel, equipment, and qualifications belonging to the business will become part of YIT’s Infrastructure segment. The parties have agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.
Electric Power Finland Oy is a company founded in 2007 that provides comprehensive solutions for demanding electrical construction and railway technical systems projects. The company’s railway service business delivers overhead line and signaling system projects and offers services for track and rail transport infrastructure. YIT announced on Wednesday that it is acquiring Electric Power Finland Oy’s railway service business. The transaction is small in scale for YIT and has no impact on our forecasts. However, the acquisition supports the capabilities of the company’s Infra segment in the rail market.

YIT and Atria Oyj have signed an agreement for the construction of a ready-to-eat food production facility in Nurmo, Seinäjoki. The value of the contract for YIT is approximately EUR 13 million, and it will be recorded in the order backlog for the first quarter of the year. The project supports YIT’s strategy, where energy and industrial construction projects play a key role in building a sustainable society and promoting the clean transition.
YIT is responsible for the construction of the new building for the expansion of the ready-to-eat food production facility. The production facility, named the Food Factory of the Future (Tulevaisuuden Ruokatehdas), is part of Atria’s clean transition investment, in which ready-to-eat food production and related energy solutions are modernized by updating the production process and other technical systems to be more energy-efficient.
Construction work has begun and has progressed to the laying of the foundation stone, which will be held on Monday, January 19, at Atria’s Nurmo production facility, led by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. The construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.

Here are Atte’s preview comments, as YIT publishes its Q4 report on Friday
In our forecasts, the company’s result for the 2025 financial year is heavily weighted toward the fourth quarter due to housing completions. As a result, we expect revenue for the quarter to have returned to growth year-on-year for the first time since 2023. YIT has guided for an adjusted operating profit from continuing operations of EUR 40–60 million for the 2025 financial year. Our full-year forecast is near the upper end of the guidance range (EUR 57 million). Naturally, our interest in the report is focused on the guidance for the current year, for which we expect strong earnings growth from the company.

YIT has started construction work on the first plot of the Circular Economy Block. A total of 70 right-of-occupancy apartments and 84 senior rental apartments will be completed in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki. In addition, the block will include service facilities for communal activities, as well as commercial premises. The building will have eight residential floors and an underground parking level, on top of which a courtyard deck will be constructed. The scope of the building is over 11,000 gross floor square meters. The work is estimated to be completed in spring 2028.

Atte’s comments on YIT’s Q4 results.
YIT announced an expectedly strong Q4 result on Friday, driven especially by the positive momentum in the Housing CEE segment. The company’s net debt decreased significantly, and the guidance provided for 2026 was in line with our forecasts. Overall, the report reinforced the view that the company’s earnings turnaround is progressing as planned, driven by Central Eastern Europe, even though the Finnish housing market remains challenging.

YIT’s Q4 result was roughly in line with our expectations, and the guidance for the current year offered no surprises. Our forecasts have therefore remained largely unchanged, and the Housing CEE segment continues to be the driver of the company’s earnings growth in our forecasts for the current year. YIT is initiating change negotiations in Finland, through which it aims for cost savings of 15 MEUR by the end of 2027. Despite the efficiency measures, we forecast that especially the result of the Housing Finland segment will remain far from its potential in 2026-2027 due to low volume levels in both consumer and investor projects. We maintain our target price at EUR 2.9 and our recommendation at Reduce.

YIT and Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy (Heka) have signed a general contract for the renovation of a rental housing company located at Jokiniementie 5 in Veräjämäki, Helsinki. The value of the contract is just under 14 million euros, and it will be recorded in the order backlog for the first quarter of the year.
The renovation project includes two residential apartment buildings completed in 1964, with a total of 116 apartments, a garage building, and a waste shelter to be converted into bicycle storage. The apartment buildings have four residential floors and a basement. The renovation will improve the property’s accessibility, building services, and energy efficiency by implementing geothermal heating alongside district heating and adding heat recovery to the exhaust ventilation. The facades and courtyard areas will be refurbished.
Construction work will begin at the end of April 2026, and the project will be completed in the spring of 2027.
