A Voxtur position with terrible losses has been hanging in my portfolio, reminding myself of the dangers of FOMO. I’m not in the private group, and the little I’ve followed the company lately has been quite negative. Some Bluewater deal was supposed to happen during the autumn, but nothing has been heard about it either. Do the Voxturists on the forum still have anything positive about the company?
It’s not bankrupt. At least not yet.
Everything now depends on that BW deal; if it falls through, then we can start turning off the lights, depending a bit on BMO’s goodwill.

This thread has quieted down a bit. How many might still have something to report for this thread? Many hype stocks serve as a cautionary example not to put too much risk in one basket.. Perhaps the discussion will continue and the debriefing in Discord
That private discussion is still quite active. About Verify, the new CEO, the UWM IP trick, Dwelling Blocks, and all sorts of things just in the last 2 weeks.
Is further growth expected for that stock, or is it the beginning of the end?
I guess the end already came in summer 2022
But there’s still entertainment value left, as twists come almost every week.
Does anyone have information on Voxtur’s situation?
I’d be interested in tax relief or how to get the shares off the AOT? Foolishly, I left them hanging there.
Trading has ceased, and I personally don’t harbor hopes of it resuming. Presumably, someone will buy [it] for scrap value, and small shareholders will have to swallow a bitter pill.
In practice, in this case, these losses cannot be deducted for a few years, unless some miracle happens. Someone claimed somewhere to have successfully sold shares that had faced suspended trading to a friend outside the stock exchange, and after proving this to their broker, managed to get the shares off their OST-account and subsequently close the account to realize the capital loss.
My understanding is that this is not in accordance with the rules of an OST-account, but one could probably clarify the matter with their own broker—who would prevent it if
