Valmet will deliver a complete paper production line from stock preparation to reel and winders, as well as services and a comprehensive automation solution package, to one of its largest customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The paper production line will produce wood-free uncoated paper grades, and its start-up is scheduled for 2026.
The order is included in Valmet’s orders received for the fourth quarter of 2024. Its value will not be disclosed, but a similar paper production line is typically valued at EUR 90–120 million.
The order follows a paper production line order announced in June 2024 for the same mill.
