This talk of profit warnings kept haunting the back of my mind, and I finally ended up selling my small position at break-even. After a sluggish start to the year, even reaching the lower end of the earnings guidance will require a strong performance in the final quarter. The early winter weather hasn’t been very favorable for winter clothing and outdoor equipment either.
This was a bit of a misguided purchase from the start for lack of better ideas, and I certainly didn’t want it to become a long-term burden in my portfolio. That’s why I sold, even though it’s not necessarily expensive compared to Puuilo, for example.
