Tieto announced on 1 December 2025 that it had agreed to the sale of the Norwegian Bekk Consulting AS (Bekk) to the private equity firm Axcel for a debt-free purchase price of NOK 1,700 million (approximately EUR 150 million). The transaction has been completed today, 2 February 2022.
As previously announced, Tieto will use the proceeds from the transaction to reduce debt and/or for distribution to shareholders in accordance with the company’s new capital allocation principles.
Bekk operated as an independent part of the Tieto Tech Consulting business, and the transaction has no impact on Tieto Tech Consulting’s operations in Norway.
