The Mercosur free trade agreement could be favorable for Tamtron in the long run. South America has a lot of material production industries, such as the forest industry and mining.
I would estimate that currently, a few percent (perhaps 2-3%) of Tamtron’s revenue consists of exports of onboard scales to South America. This is, of course, a small share of the total, but with relatively good margins.
