Taaleri as an investment

You might be right. Taaleri certainly knows what kind of agreement exists between Turun Toriparkki Oy and the city. That is where the starting point for resolving the liability question lies.

Taaleri would be making a move that creates shareholder value if it shed some light on the matter. The issue might not be big enough to draft a stock exchange release for—especially since, at this stage, the threat is nothing more than speculation.

There is a €6M gap between the book value and the estimated fair value. Juurikki looked into the details of this investment maybe a year ago, and the recollection is that based on the financial key figures, there isn’t much room to haggle. After all, who would sell a highly profitable company for next to nothing if they don’t have to.

And now for something lighter. What if Taaleri, just out of spite, distributed the shares of Turun Toriparkki to Taaleri’s shareholders pro rata according to their ownership? There would certainly be enough space to hold the AGM right there in the parking garage. It’s always nice to visit Turku, but one always needs an excuse for the trip. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
