Taaleri as an investment

You might well be wrong. The article specifically states that the subsidence began during P-Louhi and picked up speed with the construction of Toriparkki. If you read the original post, you probably noticed the link to the article where the issue was also visualized in a chart.

What was reported now were the negotiations between the parish and the city, which were based on an old agreement. Since an agreement is unlikely to be reached without going to court, Toriparkki could still be brought into the picture as a potential paying party. As far as is known, this risk has not yet materialized, and it would be great if it never did. Still, it is already affecting Toriparkki’s sale price right here and right now.

It is really bizarre that my post regarding this was deleted as off-topic. As long as the matter remains open and potential court proceedings are still ahead, it has a negative impact on Toriparkki’s value. Is one not allowed to say that on this forum? Hello?

Yeah, someone like Juurikki should have told the people of Turku centuries ago that building on clay isn’t worth it. Or if you really have to, you should at least have the sense to hire Dutch piling masters. They managed to handle things properly over there even back then.
