“Bachelor of Laws, MBA Jussi Vanhanen has been appointed as the new CEO of Metsäliitto Cooperative. He will also serve as the President and CEO of Metsä Group. Vanhanen will start in his position on July 1, 2025. Metsä Group’s current President and CEO Ilkka Hämälä will continue in his position until June 30, 2025, after which he will transition to special assignments within the company. These will continue until October 23, 2025, when he will retire.”
