Revenio as an investment

Could Revenio’s buying side calm down a bit now! :astonished: Just as I was calmly and contentedly enjoying the rural scenery on top of my sturdy and safe Reve pile, that pile started growing uncontrollably and my balance began to waver. Of course, I shouldn’t complain, but all this excessive hype makes me nervous..

Exactly. With the stock price rising so euphorically, is it just hype inflating it? And the investor’s nerve is already twitching, wondering if they should start selling some shares off as the stock’s bloat becomes excessive. The burden of a successful investment, oh dear…

RSI is starting to hit readings of 90, which would signal overbought. I’m curious to see how that RSI reading could be utilized in this case. I’m holding, though.

If you don’t really feel like selling the house.

There are some stocks that I’m starting to feel it’s not worth trading in and out of.

Trump tweets, Revenio, and Talenom, probably the most defensive companies on the stock exchange, both down 5%.

Hello! There was a request for a comprehensive report, which is currently underway and expected to be released after the Q2 report. This will give us a bit more visibility into CenterVue’s (CenterVuen) figures. A comprehensive overview of the new entity is coming.

One would imagine that Centervue’s second US coastal representation would enable at least Icare sales there, as it is probably a fairly easy product to sell.

US sales should have good synergies. Some of the independent “reps” used by Icare were already selling both Icare and CenterVue products.

I think it’s a stellar result and largely seems to have met expectations, with the exception of operating profit, where there seem to be higher costs due to the acquisition. However, the adjusted figure is good. Additionally, the revenue forecast seems to have risen, but the operating profit expectation softened slightly from strong to good. I’m back on board.

I also bought a little more. I got a particularly good feeling from the CEO praising the staff for being very supportive of the acquisition and their work morale being high. An internal handbrake would certainly drive integration costs up and synergies down. This isn’t free, of course, but it fits well with my plan to load up on defensive growth for a long-term portfolio.

Agreed. I’ve been following this for a while and have occasionally made small profits when it’s dipped below 19 euros, but now I might consider a longer hold given the current market conditions. It pairs well with Novo Nordisk as another pharmaceutical company… :+1:

But where is Inderes’ comment on the result? The result came out at 9 o’clock and nothing, not even Twitter, on the subject. All other nonsense, though.. Revenio is still in the model portfolio so you’d think it would be of interest.

I was also worried when the Inderes report didn’t come out. I had to make additional purchases using my own brain.

Can’t wait to browse the fresh, comprehensive report.

What is left misunderstood? Why is revenue -5%?

This got stuck in my throat:

Due to the CenterVue acquisition, Revenio’s revenue will grow very strongly. The group’s adjusted relative EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization), adjusted for one-off acquisition costs, is expected to be at a good level.

The previous financial guidance for 2019, published in conjunction with the financial statements release on 14 February 2019, was: Revenue is expected to grow strongly from the previous year, and profitability is expected to remain at a strong level.

So, revenue will grow very well, but the margin will decrease? In euros, of course, there will be a good amount left on the bottom line, but are margins being compromised?

Here’s Robin’s interview:

Robin’s communication was so clear; if only CEOs spoke the same way, we’d get so much more out of these interviews!

As with many companies, the informational value of the guidance is on par with a meteorologist predicting that tomorrow’s temperature will remain above zero :expressionless:

Updated forecasts can be found on the company pages. CenterVue seems to generate higher revenue than my previous estimate; we started with a rather cautious forecast after the acquisition. It’s good to note that CenterVue (EBIT >20%) is not as strong in terms of profitability profile as Icare (EBIT ~35%), so the acquisition slightly dilutes margins at the group level, which may explain the softer wording. Our forecast for adjusted operating profit in 2019 is 28.5%, compared to 33.3% in 2018. Strong numbers nonetheless :+1:

Has Revenio’s company report been left waiting for its realization? It would be interesting to get some perspective on that…
